Testosterone Suspension is the most powerful and pure form of testosterone available. Being pure testosterone, it comes with a very short half life at as little as two hours and therefore requires regular injections to maintain blood levels. For this reason it is not as widely used as the more common ester forms of testosterone which can be injected much less frequently.
This form of testosterone is not an ester, but is a water based derivative of testosterone. Esters are oil-based and the difference here is that testosterone suspension has a short half life with the downside of needing more regular injections to keep up your concentrations of the compound. But this comes with the major benefit that it is taken in rapidly by the muscles.

What is Testosterone Suspension?
This is a potent and powerful type of testosterone and does have a popular following amongst some bodybuilders due to the fast results that are possible, but many others find that the injection schedule is not worth it. Testosterone suspension is generally not recommended steroid for beginners for this reason.
Unlike the other forms we’ve looked at, Suspension does not have an ester attached and so is simply testosterone on its own.
Esterified forms of testosterone are formulated with an oil based solution, but Testosterone Suspension is water based and becomes active as soon as it enters your body as there is no ester to slow down the rate of release. This makes Testosterone Suspension a very fast acting steroid with rapid results from this very powerful and pure steroid.
Author’s Note: For real, NO-BS information on cycling steroids be sure to check out Straight From the Underground (my recommended underground steroid handbook). Everything in this book is based on first hand experience, not theory.
Meanwhile, if you are looking for something effective but don’t want to use steroids, here is my list of supplements that will help you with your quest in building muscles and getting leaner.
Testosterone Suspension Benefits
As the more unique form of testosterone, Suspension comes with some additional benefits particularly relating to how fast it works due to the lack of ester and water base which allows the steroid to become active immediately. Fast gains in strength and lean muscle can be expected, as can quicker recovery times.
Testosterone Suspension works to rapidly create a positive nitrogen balance and speed up protein synthesis. With this very fast acting steroid you can expect to see noticeable gains within the first week, with maximum gains experienced at just week 4 of the cycle. This makes Testosterone Suspension a substantially faster acting testosterone steroid than the ester forms.
Testosterone Suspension Dosage
Most beginner users are unlikely to consider using Testosterone Suspension if for no other reason than the discomfort in committing to such regular and potentially painful injections. Even intermediate users may shy away from this steroid for these reasons, so it is often considered an advanced level steroid only.
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Testosterone Suspension Dosage
If a beginner does decide to take on Testosterone Suspension, a dose of 100mg every other day is possible even though best results are always going to be achieved with daily injections.
Intermediate users will need to commit to daily injections of between 50mg and 100mg each day or at least on training days.
The most advanced users will inject up to 200mg per day and those who know exactly what they’re doing will often inject more than once daily to get the best results from this rapid acting steroid.
Female Testosterone Suspension Dosage
Testosterone Suspension is not a steroid that is ever recommended for use by females due to its exceptionally fast working nature and very high risk of androgenic effects; so there is no dosage recommendations for women to use this form of testosterone for performance enhancing purposes.
Testosterone Suspension Cycles
The very frequent injections required of this steroid make it one that few people will use for a full cycle, with 4 weeks being standard for most users and advanced users sometimes extending to six weeks combined with other steroids.
Beginner Testosterone Suspension Cycle
Beginners can make use of Testosterone Suspension as the only compound in a short cycle of 4 weeks at a dose of between 50mg and 100mg daily injected an hour pre-workout on training days. This will provide fast acting results, although you must be aware of water retention during this time, and introduce the new user to regularly injecting.
Intermediate Testosterone Suspension Cycle
12-week Test Suspension/Test E/Deca Cycle
For this cycle you’ll need 3x10ml (100mg/ml) bottles of Test Suspension, 3x10ml (250mg/ml) bottles of Test E, 3x10ml (150mg/ml) bottles of Deca, 30x50mg Clomid tabs and 84×0.5mg Arimidex tabs. You will inject the compounds for 12 weeks as follow:
- Weeks 1-6 – 100mg/day Test Suspension on training days (inject one hour before workout)
- Weeks 1-12 – 300mg/week Deca injected 150mg/e3.5d (Mon/Thu), 500mg/week Test E injected 250mg/e3.5d (Mon/Thu)
*e3.5d – every 3.5 days
In this cycle Testosterone Suspension provides a powerful kickstart to the results. Throughout the cycle use 0.5mg/day Arimidex. Start your PCT 14 days after your last Test E shot with 100mg/day Clomid for 10 days and after that continue with 50mg/day Clomid for 10 more days.
Advanced Testosterone Suspension Cycle
A powerful advanced 6 week bulking stack making use of Testosterone Suspension at 100mg to 200mg daily for the whole cycle combined with Dianabol at 25mg/day and Winstrol at 350mg/week for extra muscle hardening.
Side Effects from Testosterone Suspension Cycle
Estrogen related side effects are possibly with Testosterone Suspension and the higher the dosage, the greater the chance of these side effects. They can also come on quicker than with other forms of testosterone due to the fast acting nature of Suspension.
Water retention, blood pressure, and gyno are all possible estrogenic side effects that some people might experience.
Androgenic effects are also a risk, including oily skin and acne, and hair loss in those predisposed to male pattern baldness. Other possible side effects include irritation at injection site as requires more regular injections.
Testosterone Undecanoate Cycle
This is a very long duration ester, taking anywhere from one to three weeks to release.
Testosterone undecanoate has been developed in capsule form as well as an injectable, but the oral form is not widely available and in some places, even the injectable form can be difficult to locate.
Test undecanoate has the longest half life of all the most well known testosterone esters. Some of the Testosterone Undecanoate benefits include:
- Gain muscle and strength
- Lose fat more easily
- Very long half life so can require less frequent injections
- Boosts protein synthesis and nitrogen retention
Possible side effects of using Testosterone Undecanoate include signs of masculinization like increased hair and lowered voice, acne, hypertension, increased libido, gynecomastia and water retention.
As a less frequent injection due to its longer half life, this ester can be injected as infrequently as once every six weeks on a 1000mg dosage. For more information check my in-depth Testosterone Undecanoate cycle.
Testosterone Phenylpropionate Cycle
This is a short to medium acting ester with a one to three week release time and a three month detection time, for those concerned about testing.
Testosterone phenylpropionate is not widely used as a single ester amongst bodybuilders and is one of the less common ones you will come across. It’s more notable for its inclusion in Sustanon 250. Here are some of the benefits of Testosterone Phenylpropionate:
- Increased muscle mass and fat loss
- Energy and endurance increase
- Stacks well with other steroid compounds
Possible side effects include androgenic side effects such as acne, gyno, changes in sex drive and mood swings or aggressiveness.
Two to three times weekly injections is the most common schedule ranging anywhere from 300mg to 3000mg per week depending on your experience level, goals, tolerance and control of side effects, and if you’re stacking Testosterone phenylpropionate with anything else.
What does Testosterone Suspension do?
Testosterone Suspension acts exactly the way that pure testosterone works. It is no different than regular natural testosterone and is simply testosterone suspended in a water solution ready for injecting.
How long does Testosterone Suspension stay in your system?
There is no ester attached to Testosterone Suspension to control its release into the body, so it has an extremely short half life compared with other testosterone steroids – just two to four hours. This means it leaves the system fast. For the hormone to be completely eliminated from the body it takes anywhere from one to three days.
How do you inject Test suspension?
Testosterone Suspension is injected into a large muscle like the thigh or buttock. It is known as the most painful form of testosterone to inject, and also requires very frequent injections of at least once every two days, but often once per day. It can often be difficult to move the limb or area where Testosterone Suspension is injected.
What are the side effects of Testosterone Suspension?
Test suspension comes with the same side effect risk profile as all forms of testosterone, but they can be harder to control due to the rapid action of the suspension which becomes active as soon as its injected. Estrogenic side effects can be a particular problem with test suspension and include gynecomastia and water retention.
Can you take Testosterone Suspension orally?
Testosterone Suspension is designed for injecting only and should not be taken orally. Some oral testosterone products exist but they are thought to be toxic to the liver, while Testosterone Suspension and other forms of testosterone injections are able to bypass the liver.
What is Testosterone Suspension used for?
At performance doses, Testosterone Suspension is used by bodybuilders for gaining muscle and strength. Significant mass gains can be made as well as improvements in muscle endurance and recovery times.
Where Can I Buy Testosterone Suspension?
This form is mostly available as a veterinary drug where it is made as a short acting androgenic steroid for horses and dogs. Otherwise it is available only from underground labs where quality can vary widely, and potential contamination and low quality manufacturing can pose risks so due diligence is required if you choose to go that route with your purchase of Testosterone Suspension.
Author’s Note: I am not advising anyone to use steroids. I’d either pick staying natural or using steroids. There is NO in between. If your idea is to do just few cycles and never touch steroids again, you better don’t even start.
